Life/CoachingPhilosophy:
Anything in life worth having is worth working hard for.
If you are not having fun, reframe the way you view the situation, or don’t do it.
When you are presented with a situation, you have two ways to view it. You can view it as either a challenge or a threat. If you view it as a threat, you have already lost. However, if you view it as a challenge you are giving yourself a chance to succeed and to rise to the occasion.
Find meaning in everything you do.
Breathe.
Coaching Philosophy:
Each child deserves a chance to play soccer at or directly above his/her developmental level.
CHILDREN MEET SPORT AT THE COACH. The coach becomes the most important factor in sport development. If children have fun and receive social support, they have a better chance of continuing in sport and developing their skills. The concept of being well-rounded is important in sport as well as life. A child needs a variety of athletic experiences. The idea of “matching the child to the sport, not the sport to the child” supports having a variety of experiences.
A long-term commitment to practice and training is required to produce elite players/athletes in all sports. A specific and well-planned practice, training, competition and recovery regime will ensure optimum development throughout an athlete’s career. Ultimately, sustained success comes from training and performing well over the long-term rather than winning in the short term. There is no short-cut to success in athletic preparation
