STINGERS DEVELOPMENTAL SOCCER PHILOSOPHY
Mission Statement- Stingers Soccer Club Development Program aims to provide female and male youth soccer players with high quality coaching focusing on motor, technical, and life skill development in a small sided games context (3 v 3, 4 v 4), within a fun, nurturing environment.
Our focus is positive youth sport. CHILDREN MEET SPORT AT THE COACH. The coach becomes a very important factor in sport development. If children have fun and receive social support, they have a better chance of continuing in sport and developing their skills. The concept of being well-rounded is important in sport as well as life. A child needs a variety of athletic experiences. The idea of “matching the child to the sport, not the sport to the child” supports having a variety of experiences.
WHY STINGERS DEVELOPMENTAL SOCCER SUMMER CAMPS…
Our mission is POSITIVE YOUTH SPORT. We want to offer as many great soccer opportunities as possible for all types of players, regardless of developmental level.
o Open to all levels of soccer players, age 3-10, regardless of club affiliation.
o Every day we will have fun.
o Every day we will learn.
o Whenever possible we will incorporate the ball in sessions.
o Players will be divided into developmentally appropriate groups and work with a professional and licensed soccer coach.
o We will create a nurturing environment where players will be the focus.
Please join us this summer for Stingers Developmental Soccer Summer Camps!
