Bylaws statement:

The Stinger's Board of Directors unanimously recommends the adoption of the Proposed Amended By Laws and plans to vote for their adoption at the November 2007 AGM. The current By Laws and the Proposed Amended By Laws are both available for viewing on the website. Redline versions reflecting the changes are available for viewing in the Stingers office by any member. The By Laws have not been updated since the early 1990s. The intent of the proposed amendments is to clean up ambiguities that currently exist and to align them with current non-profit statutes. The proposed amendments were initially drafted by a panel of Stingers Board members, with assistance from a member volunteer with legal expertise. Once the panel's proposed amendments were discussed and agreed to by all Board members, they were sent for outside council legal review and recommendations, by the attorney who wrote the Colorado non-profit legislation. The final draft (after outside council review) is the proposed document posted on the website.
